ok thats it for now......
so anyway i was watching the news, and one perticular lady, (anonym.) told the story of how she joined the armed forces, soared through the rankings became promoted and served this country in many many ways.... later after retirement, it was later revealed that she was gay..... the army was upset that they let a gay female proceed that high in their rankings.....
i dont understand why gay people arent allowed to serve in the armed forces..... it doesnt make a difference....
when questioned a general stated as the reasons for the ban of gays "well becuase there may be a situation where the soldiers might have to huddle together on a cold night, and that wouldnt be good if one was gay."
uhh... excuse me? my point being.. no actual answer.....

i feel really bad about how i havent posted in years but i have been buisy
BAND OF THE DAY: paulo coelho..... he actually is an author.....
i am reading the book: the alchemist by the above mentioned author, and i have never read a more thought provoking book in my life..... and i read a lot... like a lot!
but i can never talk about books that i read with people because i find myself reading books that nobody has read or heard of.....someone will ask me what book i am reading and when i tell them the answer, i hear a dissapionted "oh" because the book is unfamiliar to them
which is an awful segway into my next point...... how people are afraid of anything unfamiliar to them....
older people are very afraid to try new things..... not to be stereotypical, but most of the ones i have met are.....
and to prove what an awful and discombobulated blog this is i will end right here because i lost my train of thought because i just returned from a distraction....sorry
but i will leave u with an essay i wrote about my view of the devine:
here goes
God is an idea, he only exists as a thought, an intangible being and a state of mind that assists those who are open to it. The tangibility of God resembles a solar black hole, not in the purpose of the black hole – destroying matter – but in the idea of one. The sun, as with all the stars in the Milky Way galaxy, is thought to be orbiting a black hole because black holes are so dense, even though they are miniscule, almost nothing in size, and are only discussed in theory. God, in the same way creates an orbital attraction. Much like black holes, God only exists as an idea and is only discussed in theory. A black hole is an intangible force that underlines all matter, and it has the most gravitational pull of anything known to man. God underlines all believers’ emotions, and the belief in God indirectly dictates all human’s actions.
Matter that is sucked into a black hole is distorted and loses all idea of time and it is believed to enter infinity. Much like a black hole, the idea of a God distorts humans in both a good way and a bad way. For example, violence in the Middle East is a result from the idea of a God and the promises that were made far in the past, or the instinctual idea that humans have of right and wrong. God does not have control of all creation, but that illusion is created upon having something to blame when the unexpected happens, or something to praise when good happens. If anything, God is the idea and human manifestation of all that is good in this world.

BAND OF THE DAY: zap mama
another poem
FIRE
The last thing I remember before
I surrendered into the flames
Was a woman’s scream
A lost child’s cry
Somewhere on the second floor
Shouting voices
Commanding.
IM IN HERE
I wanted to say.
To scream.
To even breathe.
But no
As the embers cool around my body
Nobody asked
Nobody wondered why
Me, stuck on the third floor didn’t try to escape……..

ok BAND OF THE DAY: ani difranco.... if you are a lady who was just dumped or something listen to this chick who will surley convince you that guys dont matter.....
if you are a guy listen to this chick for the awsome paino acou. guitar and vocals....
as promised another writing:
O LIVING FLAME OF LOVE:
O living flame of love
How soft you burn upon my heart
How knowingly you burn above
The wise one’s heads as if a work of art
Therefore I know you and I are never apart
O bird so sweet and bright
Fill the air with your beautiful song
Drop the olive ending the flooding nights
After all the water gone
And admit that you were wrong
O colors so sweet and glow
Marking the end of abomination
Marking it with your sorrow
Upon a freshly watered nation
Swearing again never to destroy creation
see you tomorrow... p.s. thanks natasha

BAND OF THE DAY: BRETT DENNEN. the track Ain't no Reason symbolises the fact that people arent aware of the trials that go on in other parts of the world besides america (i.e. hunger...genocide.....oppression (religious and political) ......... general obliviousness of the american public....the song aslo tells how the problems of other people who you never thought you would have to worry about could suddenly become your problems...... enjoy....
true to my word i am adding another post.....
i bike the grueling 40 minutes all uphill for an extra summer chemestry class i cant cram into my school year next fall and i cant get any more frustrated at middle aged to older women who stand thier fat asses in the middle of the side walk and dont respond when you try to call their attention.
they cant understand that there are other people on this earth who have places to get to besides themselves. when i try to pass them they give me dirty looks and mutter things like "how can these kids bike with earphones on" or "who do these kids think they are"
WE THINK WE ARE PEOPLE.....
to all you oblivious people who dont understand that there are other people on the streets of life
HAY ASSHOLES! GET THE POLE FROM YOUR ASS
im sorry about you having to listen to these rants.......
some advice: stop being oblivious to people trying to tell you stuff and listen to someone else even when you thing you are right...
as for the poem:
called toeheaded root-wad.... its about how people are oblivious to the needs of others (how fitting!)
What is a toe-headed rootwad?
Why, That’s easy!
Of course it is
A
Flabbergasted fatsome
Spilling its contents
In the face of danger
Or even just conflict
While
Running away
And away
And yet father away
From the point of animosity
So ask again!
What is a TOE-HEADED ROOTWAD?
And ask a third time please
And the answer will remain the same
The HIGH priest
Who was not so high after all
that ol’ revolutionary traitor just in it for the money
so.....
you still wonder what these nonsense-words mean?
These nonsense words?
Do they really make less sense then sending
PLACE HOLDERS
Instead of doing the job yourself?
Asking some one for help when you’re looking for them to do the job entirely?
Not knowing how to do the job your self
ASKING YOUR NUMBER 2?
Now you tell me I’m spreading lies?
I am the one to blame?
That poor man so many years ago on the side of the road
So many years ago being passed on the other side
Or that poor man not so many years ago
Being passed on the other side
ARE THEY THE ONE TO BLAME?
As they are not, I am not
But, you say, I still haven’t answered the question
The age old question
Yet again after you fail to see my explanation
Do you really want to know?
Can you handle the truth?
Yes you say, but I have other thoughts
After what you’ve portrayed yourself as,
I don’t think you would take “look in the mirror” as your answer to the question
No-
But does that mean its false?
over and out....brennan......
p.s. see any recurring theme in the above post???
OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE!!!

BAND OF THE DAY: DANA FALCONBERRY
well its pretty hard to update people on things that happen that are interesting daily.... so i guess i will include another written piece
its called PRESIDENTIAL BULLITEN
Hunched over like a turtle
Pressing hard against our nation
Blissful ignorance allowed their entrance
To our aggravation
We know not where they’re from
“Some far and distant land?
How do we protect ourselves?”
The Americans demand
The president unable
To ever comprehend
Asked his number two
“How shall we defend?
Against our new contender
To the human race
They slipped straight behind my back
But at a slow enough pace
But all the earth was calling
The mess to my attention
So that I could stop them
And issue my prevention!”
And his number two responded
As clever as he could:
“Just pretend they aren’t there
That usually yields good”
The president shook his head
And looked down at the floor
“I’ve done that for a while now
I can’t pull that one off no more
People need some answers
To this scientific jam
I can’t fudge it anymore
Or we’ll face a presidential sham
I have a solution
I’ll make a speech on the T.V.
And talk about our problem here
And our adversity”
So it was as it was said
His speech writer started then
And his publicity advisor
Booked a time on CNN
HE SAID:
“So listen folks, here’s the scoop:
If what you say is true
The world will die in 30 years
And I’ll go down with you
So I do see our danger
So put your signs away
Stop the protesting, go back home
I have a response today
So here’s my solution
What I think is right
We move ourselves out to the moon
The sun will still reach there with light”
And with that response
Outrage sprang through the nation
Every corner of the world was mad
What a misuse of creation!
The civilians complained:
“We want our earth and star
To be used to full effect
Now really, is that hard?”
So impeachment followed our president
He was alone until the end
So the moral here is when you have a problem
Be early to defend!

BAND OF THE DAY: THE BEDOUIN JACKS
well as i promised, i am adding to this blog (yet i still am unconvinced that this is being read)
i know many blogs depict world travels in such a magical, poetic way, while these words have no "inner meaning"
while this blog is poorly constructed (i.e. poor word choice with poetic meaning) i do write in my free time, mostly poetry, and i will publish some of my stuff in this blog..... its not great but i like to write in my free time so enjoy!
this is an autobiographical piece
“Heaven is what i can not reach”
but does it exist? retreating every time when towards it i take a step
how many steps have been taken? from the sunrise on my birthday to
when i was 3
to
when i was 7
and back to when I was 12
throughout all of my sushi eating days
i have been taking more steps, hunting, but to find? or to have faith is the question
but now i know that He is alive and far, coming, and here now.
by now the sun has centered the ceiling.
but me to busy writing some poems to notice
the beautiful, quiet, quick
moon rise
comment if you would like to know reasons for specific punctuation and word choice and paragraph breaks or something......also critisism is welcomed (it would convince me that someone is actually reading this) i would love to hear from someone!
the quote that i lead off with was by emily dickenson
i will publish more poems in the days to come!
bye for now

BAND OF THE DAY: SEA WOLF-- CHECK OUT THE TRACK: MIDDLE DISTANCE RUNNER
i havent added to this blog in a while...not that i expect anyone to be actually reading this given that there are millions of blogs out there....whatever......i guess that means i can say whatever i want....
....
....
FUCK!
...
....
still i am convinced that no one is reading...
thats ok....
so what am i supposed to write about again?
oh yeahh......
my feelings about life...
so i guess the only people running for george bush's position is mccain and obama... yeah.
oh guess what i think is funny.... i just discovered this today....
in the state of oregon where salmon are mostly fished, all the salmon are going extinct because of the dams that are being installed in the snake river, where a couple of decades ago, "there was so much salmon that you could cross the river on their backs" taxpayers are paying millions of dollars each year (specificly half of a billion yearly) to preserve these salmon, while even with the efforts 50% of the salmon that try to swim down the dam die in the dam stuff.
thats not the funny part
there is a group of native americans that have a treaty with the government where in exchange for the land the government stole from them years ago, they are granted permission from the gov. to fish the endangered salmon. they use equipment provided my the government bought using the taxpayer's money!
we are paying for the preservation of the salmon, and we are paying for the fishing of the same salmon we are paying to preserve
IRONY PEOPLE!!!!
well i guess that wasnt as funny as i thought it was!
whatever
thanks for listining!! as Brett Dennen says: "you dont need a reason or a three piece suit to argue the truth"
maybe the above quote is irrevelent.....so what?
i will try to post tommorrow (even though i know nobody reads these things!)

thats ok....
so what am i supposed to write about again?
oh yeahh......
my feelings about life...
so i guess the only people running for george bush's position is mccain and obama... yeah.
oh guess what i think is funny.... i just discovered this today....
in the state of oregon where salmon are mostly fished, all the salmon are going extinct because of the dams that are being installed in the snake river, where a couple of decades ago, "there was so much salmon that you could cross the river on their backs" taxpayers are paying millions of dollars each year (specificly half of a billion yearly) to preserve these salmon, while even with the efforts 50% of the salmon that try to swim down the dam die in the dam stuff.
thats not the funny part
there is a group of native americans that have a treaty with the government where in exchange for the land the government stole from them years ago, they are granted permission from the gov. to fish the endangered salmon. they use equipment provided my the government bought using the taxpayer's money!
we are paying for the preservation of the salmon, and we are paying for the fishing of the same salmon we are paying to preserve
IRONY PEOPLE!!!!
well i guess that wasnt as funny as i thought it was!
whatever
thanks for listining!! as Brett Dennen says: "you dont need a reason or a three piece suit to argue the truth"
maybe the above quote is irrevelent.....so what?
i will try to post tommorrow (even though i know nobody reads these things!)

band of the day: EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY!
all instrumental...featured in friday night lights and what i listen to to get pumped up
also..i highly reccomend the sweeny todd soundtrack
i suppose you may be intrested in my political views
i support barak obama for president in 2008......
hilary clinton is repulsive and extremely unatractive 1st off.....but thats not why i dislike her..im not that shallow to vote for a candidate just because of looks (or lack thereof) but the reason why i dislike hilary is becasue she says she is an agent for change, but how is that possible if her husband already served in office. no doubt bill will advise her on some decisions, and that advice will greatly affect the bill era. and because they have spent their lives together they will most certenly reflect each other's personalities when in office. also hilary tends to avoid tough questions. i dont know how to react to her crying....i have no opinion on whether it was fake, but i did notice that she avoids questions a lot.....as much as i think that yes or no is an inapropriate answer for a politition, i think that they need to use those words more often (backed by an explination if course) but for example if a member of the press asks her: do you support abortion? she will spring into an explination about how the repulicans are bad people, barak obama lacks expearence (which of course is hypocritical acording to her change slogan....wouldnt you want someone who dosent know how to be a polition becasue they people who do know how arent doing so hot if you've paying attention) or how this country needs to change its ways about findinig an energy source.......
i find my mother pulling this trick a lot ...if we get into an argument about something, most of the time (all arrogence aside) i will be right, and when i finally figure out how to prove it, and i say it, in the form of a question that my mom cant answer or if she does it will prove her wrong, she just tells me to stop being disrespectful and shut up.........i will ask again and she will pretend not to hear me and when i ask a third time she will turn to me, and with her eyes closed, tell me how i am not always right
sure enough she is a hillary supporter.......see any resemblence?
the reason i support barak is that i think change is a key aspect of the election. no matter what hilary says barak is the agent of change. he does lack political expearence, but that may be what this country needs. so then hilary might say....if you want change, elect the 1st women president, but that is drawing light on the fact that this nation still needs gender and race to define everything.
i like barak becasue i dont like hillary

hello reader...... band of the day: THE CAT EMPIRE....if you like paino mixed with guitar and swell vocal lyrics check these guys out..they are from australia
yesterday i was asked my a member of the press.......how do you feel about St. Albans School not being included in the wall street journal's top schools of the washington DC area.......i attend St. Albans (STA) and it is one of the finest schools around the countury.....my response was to the question as follows:
am i suppossed to be surprised my this fact? i know you think i am because the kids that attend STA think they are gods gift to creation....no one here knows the curriculum at any of the other schools that were ranked higher than us.... if anything i congradulate the students at the other schools (some of which were sidwell, national cathedral school for girls, and holton arms school for girls) i resent the fact that you believe that i should be surprised by this fact. the reason those schools are on the top because theyre students earn the grades.....just because the curriculum is advanced proves nothing if all the students are failing.....
and my point is that the reporter walked away from me... and i caught a glance at his notebook, and most of the other thoughts were: WHAT!?! we are best at everything, or Thats rediculous..... i belive that the press hates anti-conformists, of which i am one
also regarding the death of sean taylor #21 player for the washington redskins........
forwarn you may not like what you read.....
i think the total overcome of the americans minds of the death of ST is rediciouls.....ok he was a good player but everyday thousands of minds were over come by the mourning of this one man.......thousands of people are dying today in darfur because of genocide...thousands of people are dying in the USA (best nation in the world? HA!) because of poverty and homocide....the press reports what people want them to hear......the average deaths in iraq sum up to 100 civilinas a day.....and the press reports on a kangaroo that was loose in a suburb of new york.....i belive that washington dc is the most powerful city on the planet....so in turn i believe that a sneeze that bush emits in the oval office can resinate somewhere in africa.....
also another fact that i have never heard in the press anywhere: USA spends 11 million dollars AN HOUR funding iraq........that speaks for itself........
one more topic.....
im sure im not alone when i say the cruel people that thought it was a good idea to "play" with the young megan meier some months ago should be justiced....in case you are not informed, megan spend all her time talking to a boy whom she met online....josh evans.... she gave her heart to him, although they never met, and told him she loved him...... josh was a joke who was created by a next door neighboor, lori drew and her daughter, a class mate of megans. they suspected megan of spreading rumors about drew in class, and so they invented a character who won megans trust and eventually broke her heart by telling her that "the world is better off without you" megan hanged herself with a belt in her closet.....
any mother that would sink that low to help her bitchy daughter take down a once friend should burn in hell....the meier family is trying to press charges, but the only interaction with the law is fines that resust from the drew house being defaced, which eventually tie back to megan's father, ron.......
one particularly moving quote of ron's is: "if megan had taken her life with guns i had in the house i'd be in jail, but they did it with a computer and are walking free."
i think the drew family should be apprehended
